Girls in Gis - Buy One, Give One #3

Part of our mission at É Nóis Clothing is to make sure Jiu Jitsu is available for everyone, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation and/or social economic status. That's a big mission, but by teaming up with other organizations with similar goals we know we can make a real difference.

Our first nonprofit partner is Alley Cat Fitness Foundation in Panama City, Panama.  Alley Cat is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to children in the poorest parts of Panama City.  The program is free and runs completely on donations and dues of a few paying members.   Although we've already donated several gis through our sales here and donation efforts from the BJJ community in Los Angeles, our goal is to supply enough gis, rashguards, shorts and money for programming to get the gym through the next 3-4 years.  We just completed our first BUY ONE GIVE ONE campaign where we donate one gi to the kids for every single gi we sell.  It was a great success and we will be supplying Alley Cat with nearly 50 kids gi's!

In addition, Alley Cat has a superb teens program and are a leading MMA program in Latin America.  Check out this article on the gym, some of it's most famous fighters and the founders:  Fightland Article On Alley Cat

Once we meet our goals with Alley Cat, we will look at other areas and organizations that can use our support.  To learn more about Alley Cat, visit their Facebook Page or their Website.
